Last year we charted a boat from John Spooner who claims to be the "go-to-guy" of chartering and had the most awful experience. We understand that things may happen and issues will arise, but when they do, John Spooner runs for the hills and has a blank stare on his face like we are suppose to deal with the boat issues. We are the clients who are paying the fees and costs and we have to do the work? What a bunch of bull-shit and he acts like he is the decent of the Queen of england.
This guy is so unprofessional and does not know how to provide customer service that if you have any "well to do" clients or anyone important - do not do any business with this man he will mess it up. And on top of messing it up, he will act like it was your fault and give you all the excuses in the book to avoid it.
There are better and more reputable companies out there that you have options - please do your research and ask to talk with past clients who have chartered that boat.
We will never do business with John Spooner or his companies again. Please add your experience to this blog so others can read about it and hopefully make a better choice then we did for our trip in the Bahamas.
